From Root to Crown: Chakra Balancing Series (Once a month dates May-November)

Join Liz Smith for this series of 90-minute workshops to explore how to use the tools of breath and yoga poses (asanas) to open, align and balance the flow of energy within the body. Chakras are wheels of energy that vibrate within each one of us. The balance of energy moving through the seven main chakras impacts our physical, emotional and spiritual health and wellness. Each workshop will focus on postures and breathing exercises (pranayamas) connected to a different chakra. Join in for all seven sessions or pick and choose.

Come activate and unblock energy within and strengthen and invigorate the body. Together, participants will work to activate healing energy, joy and harmony in our lives both on and off of the yoga mat. Students will all levels of yoga experience are welcome, though some yoga experience is beneficial, as we work together through lecture, practice, and meditation to strengthen and deepen your connection to your true self.

Connecting to the Earth: Grounding and Finding Stability

Activate the energy of the first chakra, your root, to find stability in your yoga practice. Participants will focus on creating balance through activation of the feet, legs and pelvic floor.
